A Tale of Romance And Reality
on 21 April 2004
Priya (Rani Mukherji) is a fashion designer who has come to India from Greece to stay with her Aunt. She is stylish. Raj is hardworking and owns his own haulage company. He likes his job and his trucks. Priya, nearly runs Raj's truck off the road( due to her very bad driving). Raj ignores her bickering and can't help but stare at this person who seems to turn his world upside down. Raj follows Priya to Greece where she is to marry her childhood friend. He woos her and she realises that she loves him just as much as he loves her.
This film is about how two people from very different backgrounds. Raj is a very ridgid man who takes his wife for granted. He's very good at romancing but less so in understanding. The second part of the film is a struggle of two hearts trying to overcome obstacles, some of which are naively self imposed. Will they win the battle in the field of marriage? You'll have to watch the film.......
So what makes this film entertaining?- Sharukh Khan in the role of a married man. Again, a very good perfomance. Rani Mukherji, gives a convincing performance as his love ineterest/wife
