4.0 out of 5 stars irreverent but serious help for those tricky moments, 1 Oct 1999
quirky (naughty even?) chapter titles and a rather irreverent style belies useful discussion on what to do/say on those occasions in the counselling relationship when words fail you. As they do. Illustrated with anecdotes and cartoons. A double whammy! Shame about the cover. Not very handsome but then if what is inside is sound..........

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 20 Aug 2009
It was an interesting read. Giving a slightly different perspective to Counselling than that I have studied so far which was a good thing as I have been able to look at the subject in more detail and evaluate my own thoughts and feelings with more depth.
