Product Description

The magical Glastonbury Tor has been a lifelong obsession for Dianne Ffitch. But as the atmosphere of the place becomes soured by bitterness, violence and death, Dianne is convinced she is being warned of impending disaster. Could there be an anti-Grail in existence - the Dark Chalice?

5.0 out of 5 stars A Chilling tale from the tor, 24 Sep 2002
By A Customer
This is an excellant book that keeps you captivated from the first page. The authors style of writing keeps you on the edge of your seat for the entire story... Not strictly a horror story but spooky in places. It is difficult to distinguish the facts of Glastonbury and its history from the authors fiction which makes it all the more enthralling. I agree that it is an brilliant book for curling up at the fire with.

5.0 out of 5 stars En excellent read!, 6 Mar 2001
By A Customer
I have read all the books written by Phil Rickman so far,and this one has to be my favourite. He has exactly captured the atmosphere of Glastonbury which is a strangely eerie place at the best of times, especially the Tor. An excellent book to curl up with on a cold, dark Winter's night!

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT, BEST BOOK I'VE READ IN YEARS, 10 Jun 2000
This book's clever mixture of fact and fiction is incredibly gripping. I read it when i was 17 in 98. The characterisation is fascinating and clever. Definitely worth it. I have to visit Glastonbury now.

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent glastonbury novel
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel! Although it is classified as 'horror' for most of the book the supernatural theme is overshadowed by the author's more 'human' concerns. Read more
