'Richenda' is set during the triplet era of the chalet school books, and she becomes friends with Len and Con. I think it's one of the better books from this part of the series. The paperback misses out part of the half-term trip (leaving you wondering why such a fuss was made about Monday's visit when we never actually read about it) but none of the plot is missing, and it comes to a satisfactory conclusion. As always, EBD is very good on the little details that draw you into the world of the Chalet School.
