I have been meditating for over 30 years. Only recently have I gotten to Chakra meditation. I am a musician and very sensitive to how sound affects me. I also am drawn to Traditional Indian music. That said, I truly love this CD. The music is perfect for the experience and well recorded. The chanting in the background is well done and the guided meditation is a joy to follow. I have added this to my daily practice. This is surely the best Chakra meditation CD I have found.
The only reason it did not get that last star is that the description (including a note printed on the inside cover) says there is a free pdf ebook included with the purchase which can be downloaded from the given web site. It is not there. I contacted the web site who apologized and said that was an expired promotional item. That's not good enough! But that's what you get. If you don't care about the free ebook pdf, you will have a fantastic audio experience with this.

Chakra Dhyana is a very potent mantra/meditation. The mantra is used for awakening the different chakras and is in line with the indian version of the chakras which is probably closer to the truth than new ageie types. Personally i got this cd becuase its great to work with when your recieving deeksha. I have been practicing the mantra without the cd and the cd deffintatly helps more. It really opens you up and clears oput alot of stuff that may be holding you back. I reccomend doing this mentioned cd, kundalini yoga and recieving deeksha to really maximise the benifits. Also practice the mantra once you have learnt it without the cd.
