I bought this book about a year ago, and looking back the short comings are obvious. The approach which the book takes is neither that of a conclusive reference guide or that of a step by step user/implementation guide. Many vital information and concepts are completely glossed over.
Overall it could have been so much better - it seems to me that it was rushed to the market. It doesn't really give you anything that the user guides dont and wouldn't recommend that anyone buy it.

This book was purchased along with some other titles covering Oracle Applications. Although it contains more pages, it covers less ground. It's style is that of training course given by a professional trainer rather than a consultant. Each topic is covered with alomost equal weighting, no emphasis is given to the subjects that matter.
In addition, as far as I can see, the exams don't exist any more?
As a consultant this book has been of almost no value to me, since others are more suited.
