I recently purchased the 12" of 'Supernature', but remembered how on the album this track sigues nicely into the following two tracks, whereas the song ended abrubtly on the 12" format. I also remembered that there was also another great track on the album 'Give Me Love'. I now own the CD and am very pleased with it. Both 'Supernature' and 'Give Me Love' warrant 5 stars. 'Love Is Here' and 'Love Is The Answer' warrant 3 stars only, but overall I rate this album 4 stars. A must have album for anyone looking for super disco tracks from yesteryear.

This is pure kitsch disco heaven at it's best. French man, Cerrone was the Ron Jeremy of disco and the best way to describe it is Disco Porn! Tongue-in-cheek in nature but serious 70s disco music. Supernature, the title track, is Cerrone's classic tune. A sci-fi epic about GM-style science on the fields that creates creatures who turn on the human race (if I remember rightly!). It's amazing and has the feel of Space (Magic Fly) about it. Fans of Kenny Everett will remember Supernature as the theme tune for his classic Thames ITV show - a perfect accompaniment if ever there was one. The album was co-written by eccentric punkster Lene Lovich (Lucky Numbers fame). Cerrone was the epitome of what I love about 70s disco and I only remembered Supernature from then (a hit when I was 9 in 1977). Cerrone's albums really cheer me up - especially driving in the car with the sun shining. My only regret is that he never collaborated with camp disco queen Cristina. His disco porn humour and her camp disco humour would have made for, like, the best disco ever. But, alas, it was never to be...

Supernature is a classic and the whole tribe of 21st century disco kings and queens should pay tribute to him. Think about Saturday night Fever and set it in Ibiza. A must have before it's Sunday morning!
