if you're going to peel anything give this a go. makes light work of most things when a metal blade would struggle. it even manages butternut squash. you do have to be a bit cautious or avoid being to rough though. the week point on ceramic peelers is the plastic lugs holding the blade in. that was on another brand though and so far this modle has been great.

This was worth every penny, An easy to use and efficient peeler. The handle on it makes it easy to use, a goood grip and the blade seems to peel without any waste and as far as i can tell its dishwasher proof. A worth while purchase

What a fantastic peeler. Ceramic is the way forward. This is the second one I have bought and the last only broke through my own stupidity and not by any design flaw (I tried to peel a Butternut Squash with it).
Great price for a good Ceramic peeler, there are others out there but are much more expensive.
Now I find I peel far too much than what I need just because it is so easy and enjoyable!

the ceramic make all the difference
i used to hate vegetable peelers but i bought one ceramic one ( Not this UNIT) from home show last year and it was amazing but the handle failed after lots of peeling. Read more
