If you weren't there you'll never know. Roddy Jackson was one of the three original Merced Blue Notes. When they played the old wooden pavilion at Micke Grove near Lodi young people came from all over the North end of the San Joaquin Valley. Went to a lot of dances there. None of the other bands could get a crowd dancing like Roddy and the Blue Notes.

Roddy Jackson send us cruising back to the golden days of Rock with his unique vocals and playing. His youthful energy -- which he maintains to this day -- is infectious. Hard to keep your feet from tapping.
