from the start of this disc there is an energy that is so infectious even the ballads are full on gloria is a doo wop flavoured track love at fist site a stone cold classic got my sights x2 fantastic variations hiccups,moose on the loose and she said yeah demo its a brilliant ride i keep getting back on again and again if you like real rock n roll buy it..

If you weren't there you'll never know. Roddy Jackson was one of the three original Merced Blue Notes. When they played the old wooden pavilion at Micke Grove near Lodi young people came from all over the North end of the San Joaquin Valley. Went to a lot of dances there. None of the other bands could get a crowd dancing like Roddy and the Blue Notes.
