I already had the Paris map, so for our holiday in Tours, this seemed ideal. The maps are clear, and easy to read (note they are printed on both sides of the paper).
The only drawback is that Tours is near the edge of the map (part of the overlap between this map and the Lower Loire), and so they have taken the whole section immediately south of Tours to put the legend there. If I had known this before, I would have bought the Lower Loire map. The same is true for the Eastern border, I believe.

I am sorry that I bought this map as a large area to the SW of Tours is removed to hold the key. This area includes many of the places that tourists will be interested in so it is a silly place to put the key.
