A good Book with a glance at all the central lines around Birmingham, good photos and captions, its on a par with British Railways Past & Present no 61-BIRMINGHAM. The addition of the Ex-GWR mainline to wolverhampton as far as West Brom (the jewellery line) is worth noting and no doubt with the ever-changing railway scene in Birmingham a revised reprint won't be far in the future--With the Planning of the HSR from Euston terminating at Curzon Street for example, a lot of detail is focused on the Cross-City Line including the Lifford Loop, Somerset Rd, and Central Goods Depo. a worthwhile addition to the growing library of Birminghams Railways, 10 out of 10 :)
