About the Artist
René Griffiths was born in Patagonia of Welsh ancestors and sings primarily in Welsh and Spanish. A songwriter, singer and guitarist, René's mixed cultural and musical heritage has resulted in a unique Patagonian hybrid of Argentine rhythms and Celtic traditional music. Celtica Latina is a varied collection of traditional and original songs reflecting his musical heritage. Ganwyd René Griffiths ym Mhatagonia o dras Gymreig ac mae'n canu'n bennaf yn Gymraeg a Sbaeneg. Mae René yn ganwr, cyfansoddwr caneuon a gitarydd, ac mae ei dreftadaeth ddiwylliannol a cherddorol gymysg wedi esgor ar groesiad Patagonaidd unigryw o rythmau'r Ariannyn a cherddoriaeth Geltaidd draddodiadol.
