This books shows a good number of celtic initials, including complete alphabets in two stiles, and it is a good source of inspiration for any celtic-like illuminated text one may want to write.
Illustrations are in black and white, so that they can be easily copied.

Just what I was looking for! As a calligrapher with a preference for oncial script, I was looking for inspiration for my illuminated letters and the examples in Mr Meehan's publication do not disappoint!

I like this book and it arrived in good condition I hoped for for colour as the front looks so colourful inside is black and white illustrations but then you can us your own colour to paint the images it is a good beginners book.
