I really like this informative book. Nicely laid out and easy to understand. I would recommend to others who wish to deal with bumpy skin.

really good advice 12 Aug. 2007

I really like this book. For one thing, a lot of the advice as to what to eat is consistent with the Dr. Perricone advice relating to good skin and weight management, so that makes me feel like there's some scientific basis. It is organized exceptionally well, doesn't promote a lot of expensive products, food, or spa therapies as only road to improvement. Addresses issue from multiple angles (diet, excercise, treatments, supplements), breaks things down into very easy to read charts, has lots of pictures, and is a great price. I picked up the british edition in an airport a few years back and I still refer to it from time to time. I am buying the new edition to check for updates on info. Highly recommended.
Good overall advice, But... 25 Nov. 2008

Helen offers a lot of helpful, no hype advice for healthy living. However I feel the title is a bit misleading...

The cited examples, studies, etc - is great reinforcement for the overall 'well-being approach' offered - but I fell the exercise section could have offered so much more in terms of a specific program that targets and reduces cellulite... Maybe in the next edition?
