This is the third Cello Time book I have used, also owning Cello time runners and Cello time christmas. Although I am an adult student, I dont find the books too "child" orientainted, and, if you get really fed up with the playing, you can colour in the fun pictures throughout the books!
The CD's are very helpful, as I can play along to those in between lessons, and also play pieces that I have not done with my teacher. I would recommend this series of books for cello students of all ages.

As an adult returning to the cello, I wanted something beyond the "twinkle twinkle little stat" but having forgotten a lot if technique, was limited in repertoire...
This book has been perfect. Really lovely tunes... Decent length and clear methodical approach to the positions etc.
The cd is brilliant. Each song recorded twice as separate tracks.. One with and one without the melody, so can be used for both practice and performance.
Really lovely, lively music that is inspiring and achievable... Many are featured in grade exams
Brilliant purchase for a cellist of about grade 3 standard. Really love this book!!!! .

There are a lot of pieces in first as well as fourth fingering positions. It is a good book for players around grade 3 ABRSM standard, with big variety of musical styles. It also has 2 pieces in grade 4 section A and one piece vrade 4 section B of the Trinity syllabus. Tunes are good. Nice songs with lovely accompaniment that you can use with your practices. The CD is useful for the learner
