This has got to be one of the greatest books i have ever read.
If you like true crime, you'll love this it's wonderfully written.
The only complaint is that you can't put it down!
I don't normally read books more than once, but i have read this one four times!!
MUST BUY!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Dime novel., 24 Jun 2008

A fascinating account sadly rushed and poorly written, this book is filled with typos, and on at least one occasion the author just stopped mid sentenced. This is a story that needs to be rewritten by a more accomplished author, I would not recommend this book.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Good Appraisal of an Horrific Individual, 7 April 2009
By Anthony Nolan "Anthony P. Nolan" (Ireland) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Gary Heidnik's vile acts are recounted well by Ken Englade here. He goes through the mad man's childhood and the early life that shaped his psyche. Englade's forensic examination of Heidnik is "unputdownable", even when the author moves on from the actual crimes to the trial, he continues to hold one's interest well.

Unfortunately this book is not updated and is that which was originally published in 1988.
