This book is a giant. It's huge format is the only way that it could portray the 'thangkas' with any sort of clarity. The art is very detailed with fantastic, vibrant colours and images. The pictures are explained in the most part with a reasonable sized portion of written text - this roughly translates each image, a full explaination would require whole book for each one!
A fantastic addition to a fans collection although it's hard to find a bookshelf large enough for it!

As simply spectacular book of glowing images. Each one fills you with awe as you look at it. Perhaps someone needs to write a very detailed guide to each image to satisfy the desire to know what each of the intricate details is about.
