This book was given to me as a gift and I have since had to hide it from friends intent on stealing it. It is now on several birthday / christmas lists.
Much of it seems obvious, but it serves as a fantastic and creative reminder to do just as the title suggests. It is so easy to be carreid away by the daily routines, organising, planning and tasks that we can so easily forget what should be the most important thing in our life. Many of the ideas have been put into use in my own chaotic and loud family (three children, 5 yrs and under). Thinking about and listing the qualities of each child (and even husband) makes it so mush easier to appeciate and admire them as increadable individuals. As my children get older I am also looking forward to implimenting many of the other ideas, such as family meetings or 'listing' what each member feels 'family' is to them,(or should be).
This book can be used for families with children of all age groups, there really is somthing for everyone. I defy anyone to read it and not be inspired to put at least one suggestion to use.
