If you already have Lindy Smith's 'Cakes to Inspire and Desire' you will be really disappointed as I was. The designs are identical only scaled down with a only a couple of new things put in. The couple of new things are not the type of mini cakes this book looks like it will contain, they re more for children i.e. a monkey cake. Personally I think this book has been a waste of money.

Totally agree with review by S. Brignall. Was rather hoping to have some new mini cakes but basically the same as in Lindy's previous book. All that said, it is a lovely book to add to my collection.

I was extremely disappointed by this book. I admire Lindy Smith's work and own several of her books but on this occasion I felt cheated. As other reviewers state, if you already own a copy of "Cakes to inspire and desire" don't bother with this one! Nearly all of the cakes are mini versions of cakes in the aforementioned book. Very disappointing!!
