This is a collection of 7 walt disney cartoons. 5 of them are old animations (but in colour) and the other 2 are more recent animated ones. My sister and i enjoyed all of the cartoons, though others might not enjoy some of the old animated cartoons, depending on their taste.
The 2 modern animated cartoons include "Donalds Snow Fight" and "Plutos Christmas Tree". These were both very good and fun to watch. Other older animations include "Santas Workshop", "The night before Christmas", which were my sisters favoutites, "On Ice, which is about all the disney characters having fun on a frozen lake", "Cookie Carnival" and "Ferdinand The Bull" which dosent have anything to do with Christmas but all the others do.
In all this DVD is a nice Christmas collection that gies you Christmas spirit. For a more modern Christmas animation i would recommend Mickeys Once Upon A Christmas, but for people who still love those original disney animations this is a great DVD to buy.

As an adult buying it for my 3 year old daughter, I was very disappointed when we first watched it together.

It runs for 50 mins and has 7 short cartoons on it. Only three of them are directly related to Christmas, a further two are set in the winter, but two other cartoons have absolutely no relevance to Christmas OR winter, and just seem to be random additions.

All except the last three cartoons are very, very old and are very dated in the way they look and sound. This also disappointed me, as there's no mention of this on the DVD cover. Also disappointingly, only two of the cartoons have Mickey Mouse in them, and four of them have no Disney characters in them whatsoever.

However, that's from an adult point of view, but my 3 year old seemed to enjoy them. Although, because of the old-looking animation and storylines that contain limited Disney characters, I think she too will get bored with them in a couple of years.

Overall, I was disappointed that Disney didn't do a better job with this. There was hardly ANY Disney magic, and if you're looking for something a bit more up to date I'd recommend 'Snowed in at the House of Mouse' which I got for my daughter last year and ALL of the cartoons in it are about Christmas.
