Product Description

"After the picnic it was time to go and look around the castle, it's Norman you know we talked about food that they cooked on the fire whilst minstrels sang songs to a tune on a lyre" This captivating story starts on the seashore with Cedric and his sister, Glad. They soon meet up with their human friends and embark upon a train journey to the countryside. They enjoy a delicious picnic before exploring an intriguing Norman castle. Of course, all does not go as planned. Cedric can always be relied upon to get into trouble and finds himself being carried away over the rooftops - tied to a kite! Luckily, all ends happily when the mischievous seahorse is rescued by a friendly fireman. The natural momentum of the rhyme and the delightful illustrations build on the reputation established by the first story Cedric the Seahorse. Further adventures will follow, including a Christmas story where Cedric and his dragon friend Dan Haselblad go to the rescue of a circus performer.
