Given the vast number of systematic empirical studies of antisocial behavior, using a range of effective research strategies (Hill & Maughan, 2001; Loeber & Farrington, 1998; Rutter, Giller, & Hagell, 1998; Stuff, Breiling, & Maser, 1997), it might be supposed that these should have provided a reasonably firm understanding of the causes of antisocial behavior. Read the first page
