4.0 out of 5 stars Recommended 1 Mar 2011
By Garnet - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I think this is one of the best books this author has ever written. It contains information and exercises in how to connect to and gain access to ancestral memory. Normally, this particular way of describing ancestral work is done in different lines of Trad Craft and, sometimes, in various forms of Wicca, and I would say it is a key to understanding witchcraft in general. By connecting to and maintaining a strong relationship with our ancestors, and the knowledge that they keep, we can better maintain a dynamic balance between worlds and build a foundation for the future.

This book provides good methodology of undertaking this kind of work. You can easily adapt some of the exercises to fit into your practice. Recommended for individual and coven work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Depth for The Cauldron of Memory 13 Mar 2010
By Lillie B. Ruby - Published on Amazon.com

I bought this book, primarily to add another layer to some different work I have been doing. While it definately served that purpose, I found this book drawing me in with it's information and style. While I read, images and ideas appeared of how to expand what is presented in very different ways. This was a book, that I wanted to ponder, feel and allow to settle into images and actions rather than read. For me, there is no better complement for a book than that statement.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good book, bad printing 12 Sep 2012

I got this book in yesterday and have started to read through the introductory chapters. The book itself is quite interesting; blending history, mythology, spirituality, and (supposedly, though I've yet to read anything concrete) science.
My biggest qualm is that the binding in the book is already coming apart. I'm afraid to open the book too much for fear of pages falling out. I've had antique books hold up better than this (brand new) one.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this book... That is, if I don't start having pages fall out before I get to them.
