I'm bitter, I'm twisted ... 30 Sep 2000
By Magicbow - Published on Amazon.com

Therapy? is one of my all time favorite Bands. I love all of their albums from "Babyteeth" to "Suicide Pact". Everyone has it's own significant style and kicks a** in it's own way. They are one of the best Bands onstage and if you ever saw them live, you will agree. In short Words : I love 'em and I can't get enough of them. "Caucasian Psychosis" is their debut EPs "Babyteeth" and "Pleasure Death" on one album, and it shows that Therapy were just as great in their early days. Don't expect any "Die Laughing"-type of songs here, it's very raw and edgy and it's amazing. Just listen to "Animal Bones"! What a song! You can nearly see yourself stagediving. "Skyward" is a very grunge-like, calm song with great vocals. "Dancin' with Manson" is pure Mayhem, an eleven-minute musical carnage. "Fantasy Bag" delivers slow-grind, very depressing and heavy but with amazing melodic guitars. "Potatoe Junkie" is an excellent Therapy? hymn. You gotta love Andy everytime he introduces this one as an "Irish Folk Song" on their live shows. "Loser Cop" is Punk with Noise, one of the most far-out songs on the record, uneasy listening guranteed. Just click on the sample above and tell me that you're not stuck by the riffing of "Punishment Kiss!". "Skinning Pit" is another highlight, you can't help but sing(scream) along. I just noticed that I suggest the whole album as a listening advice. But I can't help, there aren't any weak seconds here. Michael, Andy and Fyfe deliver great musicanship ( as always ) and keep you headbanging, dancing and freaking out throughout the whole record. This isn't Troublegum, it's Therapy? at their basics of noise, punk and metal. They went through a lot of things in their career, from the top of the charts ( with "Troublegum" ) to Alcoholism and Depression. Their lyrics reflect much trouble and pain, but with deep black humor instead of that "Life is so hopeless" kind of thing. How can you not smile and associate with a line like "I hate everyone but you and sometimes I even hate you too"?. As you might have noticed, I love this Band, and for good reasons. They are musical greatness and they are beheaving very human, not like "Superstar" Bands. I recommend this Band to everybody and I can't wait to their new album.

Debut from THERAPY? is shitkicking! 16 Mar 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com

Although not available in england, this CD is available as 2 mini albums ( baby teeth and pleasure death ) and they are amazing debuts. It is the perfect combination of metal/indie with Skimming Pit being a cracker of a song.

Even though this album is incredible, these albums by THERAPY? are actually miles better than CAUCASIAN PSYCHOSIS ( although hard to believe ) : NURSE, TROUBLEGUM (the best album ever made) and SEMI-DETATCHED.

Most underrated band I know of 15 Dec 1999
By Jeremy - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Never before have I heard an album with so much agression and energy. Why this band hasn't gained a larger following is a mystery to me. I first heard of Therapy? through their Troublegum album which is a remarkable masterpiece. I can not stress how unbelievably talented each member of this band are. These are their earliest recordings that I know of. It reminds me of a huge blast or a sonic boom right in your face. Skinning Pit is my favorite on here, the guitar playing is amazing. I would highly recommend this album along with Nurse, Troublegum, and Infernal Love. Each one is different musically but none the less intense and aggressive. A & M did a horrible job of marketing Therapy?, I guess they don't know how to recognize the immense talent that was right before their eyes.
