i purchased these in hope they would make the drumming even quiter after i got the soft pads, well they worked ok, its a shame that the build quality is so bad that it snapped after the 3rd song, the other one that is still in one piece is impossible to unscrew and become "portable". Also they are made out of the cheapest crappest plastics known to man making them feel umcomfortable and sweaty in your hands, stick to the originals they are far superior to this rip off product.

The idea behind these sticks are great. In practice they do make the sound of stick on drum a lot quieter! But they also reduce the responsiveness of the sticks too! If you dont care about accuracy or scores then go ahead and purchase these but for the purists I would say stick to the wooden sticks. Official ones or if you want something cheaper find some real drum sticks on ebay for about £1!

I love rockband, and only recently purchased it. I also purchased a portable drum kit that came with a set of these sticks.
Within an hour of drumming (and I was only trying easy at the time) a rubber tip had vanished into thin air never to be seen again. It's a shame really as these are weightier than the wooden sticks and feel better and make less noise. It is just a shame about the build quality, or maybe I was just unlucky?
