A considerably large laptop bag built for strength and durability. Even if you don't carry a laptop, this would still make a fabulous bag for work. Vintage Leather is gorgeous crisp, crunch-leather with a subtle satin sheen. If you covet the look of old, comfortably worn-in leather you won't have to wait the years it takes for the look to develop naturally as the leather has been specially distressed so that it takes on that much coveted fashionable vintage effect much more quickly. The surface will scratch easily and creases will appear in the leather but these marks will all blend in over time adding to the unique character of the bag. This effect will be less prominent with darker colours. Leather is one of those fantastic materials that can look better with a little age. Sure, brand new leather products do look nice but sometimes the old beat-up look or worn leather effect is just plain cooler. To care for this type of leather we recommend the use of leather cream conditioner. Please remember that as leather is a natural product, the intensity of the colour will vary slightly from hide to hide during the dyeing process, making each handbag totally unique. Double handles are elegantly rolled. An adjustable, detachable leather strap enables the bag to be worn over-the-shoulder or hands-free across-the-body. The bag contains a large laptop compartment sandwiched between two further A4 sized compartments and containing handy pockets for mobile phone, credit cards and pen. The interior is fully lined and slightly padded for a touch of luxury. The bag opens wide for easy access. There is a handy zipped outer pocket on the rear of the bag. The base of the bag is flat with studded feet. Each bag comes with the iconic Cat Logo Bag Charm. The interior removable laptop skin measures 39.5 x 29 x 5 cms and the bag can comfortably carry standard laptops up to 17".

I've had this bag for a year now, although initially put off by some previous bad reviews, I love it. It's a perfect size for carrying a laptop, and the nicest laptop bag I've seen. I have used it almost every working day for the past year to carry all the paraphernalia a trainee teacher might need, and it has served me well.
The only (very minor) problem I have had with it is that if the strap becomes twisted, it digs into your back a little.

I think my title says it all. The bag is beautiful to look at but unfortunately the leather on the flap has worn off, the carrying strap fell apart when I was in the metro in Paris with my laptop in the bag and a couple of the leather tags on the inside pockets have snapped too. Not brilliant quality. However, loads of storage pockets, very pratical. Over-sized is definitely the term that fits. Maybe even a bit too big for a work bag, unless you have to carry around an awful lot of files.

At first I was very impressed with the bag as it was beautiful but it only took about 4 weeks of normal use for the bag to wear out. Under normal use and care, leather products should age nicely over time but this bag is easily scratched and the red dye rubs off showing the original leather colour. I have to look for a red shoe dye to cover it up. Also the handle is not large enough to place on the shoulders so it can be quite uncomfortable to hold the bag in your hand when its heavy. I tried using the shoulder strap but its quite uncomfortable and keeps on slipping. I regret not sending it back before the 30 day period.

Lovely bag, too big, costly postage
