Product Description

Review

While Molly Greene has aimed this entertaining book primarily at the maritime historian (and she takes the word 'maritime' in the title very seriously), it is written in a style that would also appeal to the general reader of history. It adds substantially to our understanding of those who lived, worked and thieved their way around the Mediterranean Sea in the early modern period. -- Michael Clark, Northern Mariner

Packed with History and Wonderful Imagery. 24 Oct 2011
By glen cantrell - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
Catholic Pirates and Greek Merchants: A Maritime History of the Modern Mediterranean was well worth the read in every sense of the imagination and the learning. Molly Greene does her homework here and presents a fine study book for all of those who never knew this piece of World History. I loved this book and wish I would see more Authors like Molly Greene to take it on herself or himself to write about largely unknown totally fascinating History. 10 Stars for the effort. 10 Stars for the pure enjoyment.
