Catherine's qualifications include a diploma in counselling and a doctorate from Oxford University.
Catherine has taught and coached at a number of world-class business-education and consulting institutions, including INSEAD and the London Business School. She has also worked as a consultant, tutor and PhD supervisor at the Tavistock Clinic, which has an international reputation in the field of psychology.
As well as teaching, Catherine speaks regularly at seminars and conferences on executive coaching and leadership, both in the UK and abroad. She delivers masterclasses in coaching for fellow practitioners, HR directors and senior managers and is one of the country's most experienced supervisors of executive coaches. As well as her book, Executive Coaching: A Psychodynamic Approach, she has published a number of articles on themes including leading in turbulent times and working with anxious leaders under pressure.
Catherine lives with her husband, stepson, two daughters, son and a border terrier in north London.
