This umbrella is sold as a child's item.
Bought as a birthday present from a voucher a friend bought my 5 year old daughter for her birthday we have used the umbrella less than 4 times since it was bought in late Sept.
Less than 2 months later one of the spokes has detached itself from the frame and on elevating punctured the plastic umbrella fabric. Which could easily have been worse as the spoke is sharp and could equally have pointed down into my childs face instead of up into the umbrella roof.
It's very disappointing that this item has simply been so badly made as to have broken in this way in such a short time.
I would not recommend this item.

arrived on time, and a day before the rain came...my daughter loved it.
there was a smell from the umbrella but i am sure this will go in time.
nice movement with the opening action, feels sturdy.

Got this child's umbrella for myself, it's really a grand size for child or adult, it's perfect for when in town and it's raining, doesn't take up much space unlike those massive big tents of umbrellas that people bring out. Pretty pattern, very sturdy, would definitely recommend. Have since bought another exactly the same but different pattern. I lost it today, and I cried :( so now i'm going to reorder it! :)

Excellent unbrella
Although this is an excellent umbrella, I was not aware that it was a childs size, conequently not suitable for the person I bought it for.

A bit late on arriving but I'll put that down to the festive season. The staff were very helpful and polite in resolving this issue. Very happy with this product.

Good value brolly
Nice pretty umbrella. Easy to open and no exposed sharp bits. Would say size is best suited to ages 5-8. Read more
