Fond childhood memories inspire her passion for nostalgic vintage chic combined with bold modern designs. Her clever, witty re-working of traditional English country house style has meant she has soon become a cult success. Originally based in London, Cath Kidston’s prints revive traditional British patterns. Her passion for the past shapes her creative vision, producing designs which are versatile across a wide range of products. Her trend for nostalgic vintage chic combined with bold modern designs provides for quirky gifting ideas. Founded in 1993, Cath opened her first shop in Notting Hill selling vintage fabrics and old furniture. Cath’s extensive range of patterns mix the whimsical, the nostalgic and the classical to give a refreshingly modern edge. Each collection pays tribute to happy childhood memories, capturing a glimpse of the past, to create a nostalgic trip down memory lane for those of us who are young at heart Churchill can trace its origins back to 1795 and the foundation of its first factory in the heart of Stoke-On-Trent in Staffordshire, England. I bought this mug for a friend as a Christmas present. It isn't my 'cup of tea' as I like bold colours etc. This mug is definetely not 'fine china' in the sense that the china is thin. The mug is large and chunky enough to drink soup or long mugs of hot latte - wrap your hands around it to warm them up on a cold day. Good value for money given the brand - the only crtiticism is that the pattern 'stops' either side of the handle. Amazon dispatched this to me quickly and in a box which will make it so much easier for wrapping. This mug is mass produced but the overall quality is good and easy on the eye if you like Cath Kidston designs.

Light and holds 500 ml easily carried without spillage. The handle fits well in the hand, it's a good design.

This mug was bought as a gift. It really is a lovely print, as with other Cath Kidston mugs. It may not be of the greatest quality but it is definitely pleasant to the eye and will do its job well!

As stated, pattern printed as cheaply as possible on mug but plain large white strip either side of and inclusive of handle (3cms wide) where pattern abruptly stops (which is not evidenced on the picture or description). Cheapens its authenticity and allure and a bit Meugh but great size for a stonking wrap hands around mug of tea so love it for that.

This is a very pretty mug. Not the smallest but great if you want to enjoy a proper big mug of tea.
