Still going strong after two years in which I've dropped them on tarmac several times, they just keep going! They've survived water too :)
The mounting brackets are easy to install, it's quick to remove the lights if you need to, and alternative brackets are also supplied to clip onto backpacks or anything else. So far I've only had to replace the batteries (which are supplied) once... so I'm pleased, can't really think of anything that could be improved!
The 3 modes are:

These lights have very easy to use mountings, and additional belt clips for when you're not using them on the bike mountings (though how useful that is, I'm not sure). Both lights are principally the same except that one has a red plastic cover, and the other is uncoloured. When they're flashing they're very good at drawing attention to you on the road. Unfortunately, the clear one (the front light) couldn't illuminate its way out of a paper bag when it's set to its steady light mode. I could barely see the road in front of me on an unlit country lane, and I certainly couldn't see any distance in front (I could see maybe two metres, at a push). I will need something extra at the front now, and these lights will be consigned to flashing, which I think makes them a bit pricey.
On the packaging, hidden on the bottom of the box, it says "For UK Consumers - When used for cycling these lights should be used in conjunction with British Standard 6102/3 cycle lights," but of course you can't see that on the Amazon page...

These lights were needed for my night cycling and I have to say that I am not disappointed. They arrived promptly and are very easy to put on, the battery life for them is great and best of all they are exceptionally bright. There are various different modes to put the lights on (Flashing, constantly on ect...) and look great too. I rate this 5 *'s because they are a great piece of kit and a must have if you need new lights

Bright and well made lights. Good brackets. Uses high quality plastic. Can set to constant, sequence or flashing on both lights. Made up!

Excellent Value
It's almost the cheapest light set you can get in UK. They fit well on my handle bar and seat post; they're bright enough to alert drivers and road users.

Neat, well made, cheap, great as second lights

You would think a make like cateye would be good but the front light broke within its 4th use.

useless for unlit roads
The front light is NOT suitable for unlit roads or paths which i sadly have to use, other than that lights seem sturdy enough waterproff and ok fittings.
