Thomas Gibson heads the cast as Mitch Benson in Category 6-Day of Destruction in what was probably his just prior to "Criminal Minds" days where he plays Aaron Hotchner.In this he plays the head of Chicagos Electrical Supply Unit who is having a brief affair with Chandra West who represents one third of a team using every dirty trick in the book to gain a Government contract whether that costs innocent lives or not.Amy Harking(Nancy McKeown) is a reporter for a small local news station and finds out from a "source" that there is extreme danger in the way the outside team are pushing things too fast and too hard and that an ensuing Serious Weather warning which predicts a Hurricane meeting a Tornado head-on in Chicago in a few days time will cause devastation on a scale never ever seen before!Veteran actor Brian Dennehey as usual gives good value for money,Nancy Sakovich works hard to keep her family together and is very convincing and Randy Quaid plays a Tornado chasing nut-case.Nearly 3 hours long but worth watching over 2 nights.

bought this dvd aswe are into a good disaster movie and this did not dissapoint even though it was nearly 3 hours long there were no boring parts in it kept you interested all the way through delivery excellent

catergory 6 day of destruction
the fim is very entertaining and a good storyline for a disaster film with good plots and good acting its a film worh watching over and over

Good Made For TV Disaster Movie
Clocking in a just under three hours, this made for TV disaster movie could have done with a bit of trimming up overall its actually not bad. Read more
