Product Description

Genre: LGBT Paranormal

He was supposed to trap him, not fall in love.

When government agent and Ethereal Being hunter, Denny, has to imprison an elf in his garage overnight, his life spins out of control. Caught and cuffed on the London Underground, Kit shatters everything Denny's been taught about elves. How can Kit be a dangerous, mind-reading cipher who preys on human emotions? Kit's gorgeous and funny, and he's got a cute arse. He even shares Denny's quiet kinks for bondage and cross-dressing. Or so Kit claims.

When Kit wiles his way into Denny's house for a session of mind-blowing sex, the elf seems too good to be true--until reality strikes. Denny's fucked an elf. A prisoner in his charge. If he doesn't take Kit to the containment depot he's in big trouble, and Kit's about to drop an equally devastating bombshell. The elf's been searching a thousand years for a bloke like Denny. He 'gets' Denny's kinks, adores role play and women's panties, and now he needs Denny's love to survive.

Is Kit preying on Denny's emotions, or can Denny trust him? If so, dare Denny break the law and gamble his life to save the Ethereal Being in his bed?

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual situations, graphic language, and material that some readers may find objectionable: BDSM elements, male/male sexual practices.

5.0 out of 5 stars Catch it now! 25 Aug 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I really enjoyed Kay Berrisford's Catching Kit.
From the first time we see him, I fell completely in love with Kit, the 'Ethereal Being' or EB, which he was classified as by the government.
Jolly Old London, you see, is infested with elves. The government has its own squads of pest removal officers in white vans whose aim is to remove the EBs from the streets before word can get out. The EBs are then taken away and dealt with - and they never come back.
Denny, from whose viewpoint we see the action, is one of those agents. He catches Kit, and but for the horrendous mix-up that his daily life consists of, he would have processed him right away. But Denny has too much on his plate - a hectic job, an ex-wife and young daughter for whom he's desperate to be a good dad. And under it all, despite his training, he has his doubts.
So he takes Kit home and stores him in a temporary safe in his garage. And it all goes downhill, or rather for our heroes, uphill, from there.
I loved the language, the feel and taste and smell of London. The humorous touches were genius and the writing was fresh and pulled you along. I devoured this in one sitting and hope Kay will write more books in this vein. I loved it and will seek out some more of her work.
The cover: 5 stars for the cover too. This is the way to do it! A brilliant portrait and professionally produced cover with nice colours, layout and fonts. Well done, Loose-ID.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sharp, sweet, sexy read! 25 July 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Novella length -- Sharp, sexy, fresh, a wonderfully unique take on opposites attract. The sexy thief and the big, burly 'officer'.

What I loved even more was the scenes on London Underground; the eery magic of a busking elf musician. Whats not to like about that! ;p

A fab read - I devoured it in one sitting. Look forward to more contemporary themes from the author :-)

2.0 out of 5 stars didn't get it 13 Feb 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I did read all of this book, which is something. I have read loads (and I mean loads!!) of paranormal, romance (m/f) and gay (m/m) books but I just couldn't get into this one. It wasn't badly written, it wasn't that I didn't like the characters - I just didn't get it or enjoy it much.
