Product Description

Product Description

Exquisite gold granulated jewelry intended for Egyptian royalty is entombed by one of the most powerful volcanic eruptions of all time on a Greek island. An advanced civilization disappears. The legend of the Lost City of Atlantis is born. The golden treasure lies hidden from the world until discovered by a Professor of Archeology in the Santorini digs of Akrotiri three and a half thousand years later. His joy is short lived. What happened to the Minoans? Who killed the Professor? A riveting mystery weaves in and out of the ancient mystery. From the royal workshop of King Amenemhet II of the Twelfth Dynasty of Egypt to the unrelenting modern-day heroine, Krista, who uncovers the truth - the reader is swept along an amazing and epic journey. This novel is based on historical and geologic truth.

Cataclysm in Blue Water 2 Feb 2012
By Dianne Hagerman - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
This was an intriguing read. Kudos to the author for seamlessly combining a contemporary mystery concerning an ancient piece of jewelry presumably crafted by an ancient lost civilization (Minoan) and managing to incorporate geological facts about the eruption of a volcano in the area of the current Santorini Islands as well.
Well done!

History meets fiction in a interesting twist. 16 Nov 2010
By Green Tara - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I'm a huge fan of nonfiction. However, the concept of historical fiction is beautifully displayed in this book. The book goes back and forth between a present day mystery and a hisorical recount of the Minoans. The Minoan family is compelling and beautifully described. This book was extremely educational, exciting, and touching. It was refreshing to read such an interesting story. I strongly recommend this book to all! I found this book on the author's new website: [...]. I hope we see more from this author!
