This cable is fine for punching down into keystones. However, if you need to add a RJ45 connector then forget it. The solid orange wire constantly shed its sheath when being inserted into the RJ45 connector ready for crimping. The result was a consistently bad link.
I've made hundreds of cables using solid and stranded cable - this is first time I found a single wire displaying the same poor sheath bonding over and over again. If you need to create solid patch cables then buy a better brand than this one. If all you are doing is running cables to patch panels and keystones then fine.

I bought this box of cable for a LAN party I'm hosting monthly. The cables work as advertised and move data, however the outer shielding is very thin. It could be due to the cheap RJ45 or Crimp tool I bought here on Amazon as well but with my setup I could not achieve a very tight crimp. This isn't too big of an issue, I did go and buy the cheapest of everything I needed so what was I to expect. All my cables worked the first LAN party, 2 had died by the second, and 5 were out of action by the third so all in all I got what I paid for.
Ordered Cat5e cable. The package arrived well in advance of the estimated delivery time, knew what the parcel was so did not open it until I needed to.
Upon opening the package a week or so later it did indeed contain network cable. However, all lables which had been attached to the cable box had been cut off so there was no way of knowing the exact type of network cable this was. There were no Cat5e markings on the cable itself and the copper wires are thinner than Cat5e cable I have used before. Is it Cat5e or older Cat5?
