About the Author
Linda wrote her first novel during the summer holidays from her job as a teacher. Linda does much of her work in her writing hut in her garden but is often distracted by her own furry feline friends

If I had to choose my favourite in this series it would be The Cat Who Wasn't There. Unusually in a children's book, Vincent, the main character - except for Snow the cat - is an adult. He's a painter whose cat has died and Vincent's creativity has died with it. But then Snow reappears - or that's what Vincent thinks - and eventually, with help from some children who live nearby, Vincent can paint again. I'm pleased to say my six year old grandaughter enjoyed listening to me read this quietly satisfying story.
