Amazon Verified Purchase
For the relatively modest price, this is one of the best cat scratchers around. The design is perfect for a cat to get on top of it, stretch, and sharpen its claws easily. It's quite durable, too. The only problem is a tendency of the round support ends to come off and leave a sisal string hanging, but I snip those off and they continue to use it happily. It's really been far more popular with our cats than far more expensive ones.

Arthur has never taken to the fancy scratching posts that stand up - could be because he's too lazy! But he loves his scratching post on a slope not only to use for scratching but also for leaning on. He had one before that he inherited from a previous cat but after so many years use, it was beginning to show wear and tear and isn't really in a fit state to be seen by polite society. This new one looks just as robust so will be worth the money especially as it makes Arthur very happy!

It fell apart.
My Cats loved it and it was useful for my kitten to train her on a scratching post but it fell apart within a couple of months.
