We're on our second or third cat flap, I forget which. These CatMate doors are sturdy enough until a dunderhead tries to force them outward when the tabs are set to allow "enter only" (or vice versa). One of our cats can open it the wrong way by yanking it anyway... the other one, bless her, is too thick to work it the right way around half the time. A bit of superglue and duck tape held the old one together, more or less, while this replacement door was despatched.
Last time I brought a whole 'nother cat flap and cursed loudly while incompetently installing it. Replacing just the flap, on the other hand, was easy peasy.

I was delighted to see there was a replacement flap for my Cat Mate product. I bought my cat flap about 10 years ago and other than the broken flap, its fine.I didn't know the exact model number of the one I bought, of course, no one keeps the box/packaging, that long! Anyway the cat flap arrived promptly and was a perfect fit. The only problem, due to the small catch on the flap, I no longer have the choice to put it on free-flow and the cat keeps getting locked out.

The original flat broke when someone kicked it and I thought I would have to replace the whole thing. Seeing that a replacement flap was available I decided to give it a try. I was sceptical that it could be fitted at all and thought it might not be the right size but I was wrong. It fitted with no tools (just pressed it in) and it was perfect.
