Product Description
Description: The Cat Mate C20 is designed to feed one or two cats, kittens or small dogs when you are away - during the day, evening or over the weekend. Food is kept fresh in two easy-clean compartments sealed by closely fitting lids, and cooled by a built-in ice pack. Just set the timer on each lid to open at the required time, up to 48 hours later.

I did a lot of research on the automatic cat feeders, and they are either too basic, too fidley or too complicated, the choice to get a timer or digital one only adds to the confusion. Anyway I brought this product at it has to be the best, easiest to understand and a very robust feeder. It does what it says on the tin, the seperate bowls are so easy to wash up after use, and it works perfectly. I strongly recommend this one, My friend has had hers for ages too and rates it highly also. I think it is also good value for money.

Bought a C20 cat feeder before Christmas as we knew we were going to be be away overnight a lot and didn't want to have to put the cat into the cattery as this upsets him. The feeder was easy to use ,and to clean, and he ate from it from day one! Liked it so much bought another one a few weeks ago which allows us to leave the cat for 48 hours (two meals a day) which is great. These feeders do exactly what they say and are easy to operate and set to open when you want them to (you just have to calculate how many hours it is till then)The ice packs are a good size and certainly help keep the food cooler for a while, but not the full 48 hours. Mind you, every time we come home the dishes are cleaned out!
Only down side is the ticking noise. Strangely one feeder is noisier than the other, but they do tick (like a loud clock) but you get used to it!
My cat is quite adventurous and determined but even he hasn't broken them yet so they must be sturdy!

I am so excited about this product. Sylvie my elderly cat (15 years old) took to it straight away and thinks she actually prefers it to her usual food bowl, as she can get to the gravy more easily. It offers such peace of mind when I go out in the evenings I don't have to cut my night short to get home to feed her, so no more angry hungry cat. It is very easy to operate, and the cool pack is perfect for wet food. It's very easy to operate, I would advise a few dummy runs before using it for real. It's a great price, for an outstanding item.
