Poor quality soles wear out in a few months 27 Oct 2011

Having a pair of the Sheffield Caterpillar boots before which were great and lasted for a few years I was expecting the same from these Holton boots but was disappointed. They are comfortable and the leather well constructed, but the soles are made from soft hollow rubber which wears very quickly. The heels were badly worn and soles cracked after 4 months moderate use and let water in, after further use holes in the tread appeared due the hollow construction.

Crap laces, comfortable boots 24 July 2009

I cannot stand the laces that come with cats, the fray and fall apart within a month of use.

However, once you are kitted out with decent laces there are no faults, i have worn cats for years due to the comfortableness that comes over time with these. It's not the kind you get with a pair of, these feel like they are taking care of you.

GOOD QUALITY SAFETY FOOTWEAR

I, HAVE HAD NUMEROUS PAIRS OF THESE SAFETY BOOTS, AND FOUND TO BE ONE OF THE BEST BOTH SAFETYWISE, YET BEING VERY COMFORTABLE AND CAN BE WORN ALL DAY. GREAT BOOTS ALL ROUND.
