Hi and thanks for visiting! I've been an artist for over 30 years and I believe we are all creative at heart. I've made short animated films for CBC-Sesame Street, Nickelodeon TV and various nonprofit organizations in Boston. My illustrations have appeared in The Boston Globe, The Baltimore Sun, The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Time Magazine and many other publications. I've also done illustrations for children's educational books. In other words, I've been in the trenches for a while and I want to share some of what I've learned about creativity.
I wrote THE CONFIDENT CREATIVE / How to Free the Hand and Mind to nurture the artist in everyone. I hope you'll find lots of inspiration in the book for releasing creative blocks through the simple practice of drawing. Whether you're an artist, writer, musician, gardener, cook or bottle washer-- drawing can bring you into the creative flow.
