Holby's 3rd year on DVD,

The third series of Casualty continues the trend of it's two predessors in much the same style and vain.This was the final series that the original creators Jeremy Brock and Paul Unwin were involved in and maybe one of the reasons none of the later series have been released on DVD to date. This was also the series that saw the last appearances of series regulars Dr Ewart Plimmer and porter Kuba who had been strong characters in Casualty from the very start. This left only nurses Charlie, Duffy and Megan left from the original cast of 1986. Subsequately the series drifted away from it's origins after this series and become a regular character 'turnover' programme with most regular characters only tending to stick around for a year or two. Still this DVD set is a nice treat and includes some fine episodes.

My mum and I have just started to watch this series of Casualty as she got series 1,2 and 3 for her birthday last year. We are absolutely loving watching these episodes and to see the old characters and to see Charlie, Megan and Duffy is brilliant. I cant wait until they release more series of Casualty as I want to buy more for my mum as she loves watching all the old episodes. If you are a fan of Casualty you will love this!!

I really enjoyed watching the old series of Casualty. I don't think I have seen these before, as I did not watch casualty in those days.
Some of the doctors are not so good, as the ones they have now. The start of the programme is so much different now and I think better. The only person who is still in the series is Charlie. I will probably get series 1 and 2 at some point. I hope they put all the other series, that have been on TV on to DVD in the future.
