Couldn't Be Easier 4 Nov 2010

I purchased this kit because I have too many cassette tapes, it was windows 7 compatible and it came with a 120cm audio dubbing cable which I needed.
As well as the cable you also get a software cd and 1 page of instructions.
Software instilation was simple and fast, only around a minute, and the conversion process was just as quick.
When you first use the software you go through the simple initial set up process and when you're done you can name your files whatever you want and add whatever album art you want.
Also, you can save your converted files on an audio cd, as an mp3, on itunes or windows media player.
Highly recommended.

cassette to cd software 24 April 2011
as i have a box of cassettes gathering dust in my house and i'm in the process of building up my cd collection, i thought it made sense to get this piece of software so i have cd versions of albums for which i don't have an original cd.
the software does take a bit of getting used to, so it's worth taking the time to practise using it. however, once you've got the hang of it, it's pretty straightforward to use and easy to manipulate your recordings.
the software allows you to copy cassettes onto your computer's hard drive, straight to cd or into various mp3 formats (eg WAV, FLAC). also, the sound quality isn't bad (once you've mastered playing your tapes at a volume the software can cope with). now i just need a few days to copy all those cassetes...

That was easy! 31 Jan 2011
Approx. 12 Years ago I transferred my complete record collection to Cassette and sold the records to pay the Mortgage. Technology has changed so much that cassettes are virtually obsolete although I still use them in the Car and Garage while working. I thought it would be great to convert them to MP3 so I could use them as CD's and on my Blackberry and looked at several options including players especially for this purpose. I had just changed my PC to Windows 7 and decided to give it a try. I purchased this item which is probably the cheapest option so see how I'd get on. Have had no problems, set up is easy and after geting used to setting up recording levels, minimal adjustment occassionally with seperating the odd track, remembering to add artwork and checking song is correct to title on cassette case I'm well on my way to transferring all my tapes. It really is easy, cheap as chips and does what it says on the box. Happy to give 5 stars as very pleased with item.

Does what it says!
After looking at the many options available I settled on this device. Plugged it in and it worked first time (as long as you use Windows XP).
