I bought this for my sister who's just started GCSE maths and it's incredibly advance for her kind of work. I've just started two Maths A-levels and it even surpasses what I'm doing. Put it like this, I'll be borrowing it from time to time...

The "textbook" comes in the form of an appendix and a user guide in 8 different languages. I can't understand why they would pack all these languages in the box as it is a tremendous waste of paper and triples the size of the box for something I'm not going to be able to use. The languages: English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Indonesian (I think), Portuguese.

I use this calculator for teaching on engineering maths on HNC/D and Foundation Degree courses and specify it as the course calculator. It comes into its own for complex numbers, equation solving and tables. It works with matrices but not inverse. It does powers of complex nos up to 4 but not roots. At around �13 its a great deal! There is a set of written examples of how to use various functions which can be useful.

and absolutly amazing calculator that will do so much it is illegal to use it in a-level maths exams unfortunatly due to the integration button and the algebraic formula solving
