I first saw the Casio G-Shock G-100 on the plane returning from our holiday. As my husband needed a watch I sent for this one and he is over the moon. It looks good and he needs a tough watch at his work... he will also use it for his diving..

Definitely recommend this product.

I have bought and owned G-Shock watches since they came out. Am now on my 5th?? Anyway I like the Analogue/digital style and this fits the bill perfectly. Waterproof and shockproof it is perfect for an active lifestyle. Dunno about the the previous comments about strap durability though. My watch casing disintegrated after about 4 years of everyday wear and tear. The watch mechanism itself was perfect but the rubber casing was shot. 4 year lifespan seems about right though, as 2 of my previous G-Shocks went the same way at about the same timespan.

55 Pounds for 4 years of hard everyday use is acceptable for me. Also this price is the same as what I paid 5 years ago so still reasonable in my eyes.

It works, seems pretty durable, but pricey around 55 GBP for so much plastic, basic features and movement, not forgetting it's a casio.
