It's a watch, and it keeps good time. Always a good start for a timepiece. But this watch offers just a bit more than that. It is built to be tough and hard wearing, so tough in fact that it shrugs off knocks like a heavyweight boxer against a girl guide. Plenty of functions too, timer, alarms, stopwatch, backlight, dual city time and of course it still tells the time normally! Without doubt it's a great watch, it's also comfortable to wear.

Having poured through the reviews of countless different models of watch, I finally took the plunge and decided upon this particular model, largely due to the existing reviews about it, and its competitive price when compared with other models. I can assure you that this was a decision which I do not regret!
Think of this watch not in terms of how many of the countless possible features for a watch which it provides, think of it more as a highly refined timepiece. This watch boasts no compass, or altimeter, yet it provides the user with a plethora of time- related operations, which, in my month's experience with the watch, have all been regularly used. Potential buyers may be put off by the idea that they may have no use for the countdown timer, or four of the five alarms that the watch can operate; I tell them that one finds uses for such features: I was in this same situation, until I discovered that I can use the timer for interval training or suchlike, as well as endless scope for other operations. A read through the manual for his watch, accompanied by a few days of finding uses for its functions, and the user will be delighted- I know that I was.
If you are looking for a watch to do more than what a watch should do- chart time (albeit time elapsed, time remaining, or even just to tell the time, or remind you when a particular desired time) then, please do look elsewhere. Like a wise man once said: "My watch says 200m water resistant on it, yet I am no diver; it is just nice to know that it wont break if I forget to take it off when I go in the bath", and I think this too is true of this watch. I just hope that, if you buy this, that you benefit from it as much as I have. If you take a minute or so just to take care of it- wiping the sweat off it, cleaning the screen etc- then I am sure it will keep satisfying you for years to come.

Really good tough watch with plenty of useful functions. It's very comfortable to wear and unlike some G Shock's it isn't too bulky. Usual Casio user friendly operation, the functions are easy to access and programme.
Only small criticism is that the alarm could be louder.

sheer quality
