4.0 out of 5 stars pleased 19 Feb 2005
I have this model, and so far am quite impressed. You get alot of pixels for the money in this market, and the optical zoom is reallygood. There are alot of features, half of which I havnt yet used. Its really slim and nice looking, with a huge preview screen!I'm not an expert, but was looking for optical zoom, and as many pixels as i could afford, and think this is value.

4.0 out of 5 stars Casio Exilim Z55 5 Sep 2005
By A Customer
Excellent camera - very pleased with the pictures it takes and having the large screen on the back means you can see the results easily and show other people straight away. The menu system is intuitive and easy to use with a straightforward button layout and operation. The docking station is great and removes the need to attach the fiddly USB cable to the camera. Its got the added bonus of charging the batteries at the same time so the camera lives there when not in use. Overall a very nice camera to take snaps.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good camera - Definitely worths the money 14 Jan 2005
I bought the camera wihout having researched a lot. I just wanted a 3xOptical zoom and over 3.2 megapixels. I decided on casio because a lot of friends had bought sony before and nightshot was not good at all.

If you think about it every digital camera with the casio's characteristics is going to give you fairly the same picture analysis. But nightshot is very important as well and this camera is really giving good results.

The only negative issue is that when I bought a big sd 256mb card to use with the camera there is a small delay when taking a picture and then immediately trying to take another one.

Otherwise the camera definitely worths the price. Don't even think of buying an expensive brand just for the name. Casio is a big brand anyway of course but I am addicted to sony myself to tell you the truth.Even though in this case it is really much better for this kind of price.
