I've never really been into watches made by the fashion industry - I'm not saying they're poorly made, but at the end of the day, they're watches that have been made by someone else, and simply badged with that particular brand name. But with Casio you know that they know a thing or two about watches. They don't dabble in making boxer shorts or pillowcase covers or the like - they do what they do best - make great digital watches. And the G-Shock range is no different.
The GA 100 1A4ER is a superb watch. Chunky and solid, this will take everything you can throw at it, and still come out the other end looking as good as the day you first put it on your wrist. You don't have to worry about scratching or dropping it - and it might even come in handy for knocking the odd nail into a wall if you can't find a hammer (not tested that bit yet).
It's got more dials that the cockpit of a light aircraft (one day I might learn what they all do too!) without looking too cluttered. All in all a very well made watch which looks great, and does the job it's supposed to without fuss. I love it!
