This calculator is great, it has loads of features (and comes with a hefty instruction book of over 500 pages on how to work it). It does normal calculations, statistical stuff, graphing, financial calculations. Overall its really good.

The only downside is that I bought this calculator for University, and when I started I found out that it was on a ban list, so I can't take it into exams (I'm not surprized though, considering it would do all of the work for me). I would suggest that you check with any schools/university/exam boards if you are thinking of purchasing one of these for such a reason.

Suitable for most of the math classes w/ minor exception 3 Oct 2008

This calculator comes with color display and most of the tools that TI calculator would have except that it'll become useless once you have to deal with multi-variable calculus & linear algebra (yes, it could perform matrices, but it lacks the tool to solve Gaussian & Gauss-Jordan elimination a.k.a ref & rref). If you don't plan to take higher math classes, yet need a cheap & functional graphing calculator, this gadget is for you, otherwise get TI-89.
